The online magazine Syntopia Alpina provides impulses for the future of the Alpine region. It presents common places ("syn-topoi") where different uses of the Alpine region come together fruitfully and the planetary biosphere as a whole is protected. The contributions from various disciplines bring together application-based empirical knowledge with current research, suggest sensible implementations and combine these with future scenarios. Over the next few years, a growing compendium will emerge with contributions at the interface between the formative economic and cultural sectors in the Alpine region.
