Banquet républicain – Agriculture in Uri today and tomorrow

The "Banquet républicain" dates back to the times of the French Revolution. These banquets were events with debates on political topics and life in general. In the last six years, the "Banquet républicain" has already taken place four times in Uri. 

The 2025 event is entitled "Agriculture in Uri today and tomorrow". A topic that affects everyone and concerns many. The two experts Rahel Wunderli and Jost Gisler will discuss with moderator Thomas Huwyler the structures of agriculture in Uri, training and succession planning, our diet and dealing with the consequences of climate change, as well as prejudices and clichés - both positive and negative - about farmers. 

Afterwards, the banquet guests will continue the discussion at their tables. We will meet at the Restaurant Zum Schwarzen Löwen. All interested contemporaries are cordially invited.
