Book presentation "Grenzgänge - Religion und die Alpen" Altdorf

The book «Grenzgänge - Religion und die Alpen» is the result of an inter- and transdisciplinary research project with experts from the fields of religious studies, cultural and literary studies, theology, philosophy, ethnology and history, who examine selected facets of the relationship between religion and the Alps. Each contribution is located in a specific place in the Alps, so that a ‘journey’ is also possible: the book invites you to visit selected places in Bavaria, various cantons in Switzerland, Italy and Austria and to consider the different and common aspects of religious practices, communities and tradition.
